This is a great location for breakfast, the atmosphere was very good, the food was excellent, especially the Big Kiwi and the French Toast. Best hash brown I have ever

Love Tamper Coffee!! The food here is gorgeous and the coffee is amazing (which isn't surprising). Highly recommend booking if you can as it can be busy - especially on a weekend, but the staff are always helpful and will squeeze your party in if possible. One of the greatest coffee spots that Sheffield has to offer imo!

This is always our first stop when we come to Sheffield, discovered this place a few years ago. The coffee is the best I've ever had and I know my coffee! The food is amazing too, obviously great quality produce used, then there is the service, top notch, relaxed friendly, I feel so relaxed when I come here, like to bring other people here too. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves good food and drink.

Yes! Love Tamper. I'm not a local, but every time I'm in Sheffield someone brings me here. The coffee and food are great. Today I had mince on toast and a flat white. Mince was very smooth, not too strong and very tender. Easy choice when you're in town!

The best coffee in the greater area. I only had the americano there. Several times. Always fantastic.

One of the best place in Sheffield. Can recommend anyone. It's a bit crowded on Saturday lunchtime but worth waiting.

I love this place! On a Saturday lunchtime it was heaving, though thankfully we were able to be seated straight away. Next to a blazing hot radiator. It was a fairly pleasant day in early September so I'm not convinced having the heating on full blast was totally necessary, and my sister kept accidentally catching her arm on it. That's not much of a complaint though, just an odd observation. I love the look and feel of the place, especially the drawings on the far wall. I mentioned to my sister that I thought it was affiliated with Federal in Manchester. She asked one of the staff who told her they're totally independent of each other but that the owner of Tamper helped the guys from Federal set up. This really shows in the decor, atmosphere and menu of both places. We each ordered a flat white. When they arrived they were lovely to look at, and delicious too. My sister ordered the Big Ozzie breakfast, and I ordered the smashed avocado on sourdough with poached eggs and halloumi. My dish was really beautifully presented. It came with a sweet chilli cucumber salsa, which is not necessarily something I would have chosen to go with the dish, but worked really well. My sister really enjoyed her breakfast as well. I tried a bit of the sausage patty and the hash brown and they were both delicious, really nicely seasoned. We didn't have any cake as we were fit to burst but there was a huge selection and everything looked lovely. I would definitely return and would recommend.

Wonderful range of coffee beans and blends. I had the split shot which was a great idea. Would heartily recommend and will be going back!

Really enjoyed my Mocha and the food was really tasty. The decor has a rustic outdoorsy charm, the staff were very nice and friendly. I would Def go back again.

I have tried to get into Tamper Coffee a few times but there is often a wait for a table on a Sunday lunchtime. Clearly a good sign - this place is popular. I finally managed to get a table when I headed here with my two cousins to grab an afternoon coffee. We were shown to a table by a very friendly server and our orders were promptly taken. We all went for the affogato - a nice compromise between a coffee and a dessert. The coffee is REALLY GOOD. Imported from New Zealand, these are top quality beans and have been handled with care and knowledge. They sell the ground coffee and beans so you can make delicious coffee at home as well. As a group of Aussies, we couldn't help but notice that the Hot Milo on the drinks menu is claimed as a "New Zealand drink". Definitely not the case, but New Zealanders are always trying to claim great Australian inventions as their own. Can you blame them? I really want to go back and try some of their food. We watched plates leave the kitchen and the breakfast options look fantastic. Definitely coming back for more.
